About Casa of the Heartland

• CASA of the Heartland is a non-profit corporation that recruits, trains, and supports court approved volunteers that act as advocates on behalf of abused and neglected children who are under the protection of Family Court

• CASA of the Heartland seeks to ensure that these children are placed with safe, permanent families as quickly as possible

• The goal of all advocates is the placement of these children into permanent living arrangements which will best serve the children’s interests

• Advocates work with Social Services and a Guardian Ad Litem, a court-appointed attorney who legally represents children in Family Court.
